I have a story I would like to share with your readers regarding an act of kindness by a guest in my restaurant.
We teach our employees to do what we call "unbridled acts" which are acts of kindness, unselfishness or just going out of your way to make a guest happy.
I had a party of three come in for lunch and while dining one of my team members was bringing a guest something.
This particular team member had two broken teeth in the front and was not able to afford to have dental work done.
The guest happened to be a dentist and asked about his teeth.
This dentist was Allen Yekta Nazeri, D.D.S, and he told the team member to come into his office and he would perform the necessary work at no charge.
He just said "Merry Christmas."
The team member showed up to work tonight with a smile bigger than I had ever seen before, thanks to the generosity and kindness of Dr. Nazeri.
Thank you, Dr. Nazeri – you made my whole staff appreciate the spirit of giving and "unbridled acts."
